If you are keeping it brinze, definatly get rid of the black across the bottom of the car, and add some nice 1275 GT decals.

:- burberry, hmmm, maybe not!! :grin:

defintely keeping it bronze, with a nice matt black engine block, almost back to how it would have looked originally. Clubman Katie b.f decided that for my birthday he would get me some personalised 1275 GT stripes made up (there's a company that does them). I was thinking something along the lines of;

" MINI 1293 SPECIAL "

or

" MINI 1293GT "

(the only thing I don't like about that one is that the car was never a GT originally, so I don't really think putting a GT name in the wording is very proper, as its dressing it up to be something its not)

or

" 1293 MINI "

I just don't know!! :saywhat: I guess the only other thing is one day I might decide to go 1380 or 1430 or something daft, and have to lose the stickers altogether! Does anyone else have any ideas??

Label it up as a 850, or a 1000. Keep it subtle on the outside, scare the poo out of the chavs when you unleash it. :-

Paint the engine in silver. There was a bluey silver engine about a year back in a minimag, at the end in the questions section. Looked amazing with twin carbs!!!

Bronze is great though :]
