ok it nearly getting to the end of the build so here it goes

needed alot of work, looking at it it looks ok but underneath was C**p

so i put a new floor in and put box section in the sills

painted in green with purple subfames, fully poloybushed

had to remount the hand brake

used the rear part of the roof and smoothed it over the parcel shelf

painted the engine was a 1275 but there is a 998cc in there now

Wow that looks really nice. When making a shorty do you have to add extra support around the shell? or is it strong enough but to chop it and weld it back together?

when you cut it use the front and rear floors and over lap them. then i weled new floor over the top plus box section in the sills.

so there is no flexing

what did you do with the original wheels...what are there sizes. i love KN Jupiters...great shorty by the way, I love 'em!!!

Looks cracking mate! When you say you put box section in the sills... how do you mean? Also how have you finished off around the top of the windscreen where it has been cut? Love the rear end and crome roll hoops!!
EDIT: Do you need a light for the rear numberplate?

used round bar for the top of the screen then filled it into shape

box section - i removed the sills and welded it from the inside of the front arch to the rear where the subframe bolts

do need a number palte light but im not having one

i know they are 12" but not to sure about the width

went for its interior today black seat purple piping same to the carpets and new door cards with matching colours

also having the boot carpeted
