The guy who owned my mini before me had cut the shell to allow for twin tanks to be fitted. However, I am going down the route of having an alloy tank mounted in the spare wheel well inside the boot. With this set up I was thinking of having the filler inside the boot too.
Do I get the body work experts to fill in the holes?
Do I use the two holes with something like Aston caps as dummy fillers?
Do I put 'Aero style' flush filler caps on them?
I am going for a sort of 'retro mini meets fat alloys and big arches' look, so don't think the flush caps would look right.
What are everyone elses opinions?

Yeah? I was thinking that was easiest, but I didn't know if it was the best solution. I guess if I sold it, and the holes weren't smoothed over, whoever bought it could fit a standard tank if they wanted. Saying that, after this bad boy is finished, I aint ever gonna sell it!

If your going retro... definitely put the dummy filler caps on as it would look very odd without them!!
