Hi,
As you know I bought that 72' Clubman, and it came with a 12G295 cylinder head loose as part of the deal. It is in excellent condition, I can't find any cracks anywhere on the casting (have examined it thoroughly with a magnifying glass), and the inlet and exhaust ports are lovely and smooth. The valves are present, but the springs are not, neither are the colletts. It has 2 slightly bent exhaust manifold studs, which may straighten, but more likely will need replacing, which isn't a problem. It is obviously still leaded, so will need a conversion if you want to run it on unleaded. This will obviously entail the valves being reground, which I would probably do anyway. It has the transfer hose outlet in place, and the studs for the heater output studs in place too.
I'll put some pics up in a second, what I'd like to know is how much will it be worth, and is it worth selling it?
Cheers!
Tom

I've seen them go for 50 notes and more on ebay... if you have the rocker gear and valves, be worth building it up, easier to sell..

Rebuild it and use it on your pickup or clubman!! It's a great head, and rare as heck, so you get those uniquness points too!
