Big request/favour - does anyone have a copy of the mag (think it was mini mag) that featured the omex fuel injection installation - it may have been the july issue.

if so, could i get a photocopy please please please.

i've been reading the thread on here about efi and the articles in practical performance mag and want to make my own kit (don't fancy paying £1780 for the omex one).

thanks in advance
matt

reason i ask is because it want to go down the meagsquirt route, using a jenvey 45mm throttle body on an mg inlet manifold then use the ford edis system for the ignition.

at the moment i'm just doing my homework on this and though the article may be of use regarding fitting etc, eg return pipe, O2 sensor location, temp sensor etc etc

The return pipe needs to be about the same size as the feed pipe... so a new length of cooper pipe would work a treat. Depending on the system pressure be careful for leaks thou!

O2 sensor needs to be close to the exh manifold... so on a mini your kind stuck with the t piece on a LCB if you want to monitor the output from all the exh ports. The other option is to run two o2 sensor which would help you check fuel distribution.

Temp sensor on MS is fairly easy as almost any sensor can be used and the software altered to suit.

Hope that helps!
