And I thought all mini drivers were of a small frame

I am about 5'8 and 10 and a half stone. I hardly think not using the metric system makes anyone awesome.

When the british monetary units changed from Librae Solidi Denarii to a metric form, everyone complained. Now were changing to a metric form of measurment, everyone complains.

Plus, us engineers take an imperial measurment + metricate it! A thou = Thousandth of an inch. How backwards is that?

We sure like to complain us brits.

For the record, I'm approx 0.0090869247512 furlongs tall and weigh 2688 ounces.

Prefer soccer myself, there are reasons that I don't play rugby anymore:

my dad used to play ALOT, and always tried to get me into it (I think I rebelled), besides, I hate my dad now!

every time I used to go into a pub on a Saturday night I would hear the immortal line:

"You're a big lad, do you play rugby?"

those two things really put me off, so I started playing football instead.

I'm 5 foot 6 inches tall (or maybe I should say "short") that's about 1.67m

and I weigh 14stone (which is 196pounds) or 88.9kg (but kilos measure mass not weight).

So I'm short & quite round

i am cocky
thats part of being american right.... being a total cocky asshole?

also, I don't think British cars kick all A55
they are mechanically and electrically very very subpar
but they are beautiful... most of them at least (the etype being the pinnacle of british beauty) and they have character. They are the only cars where you can look at them and certain things they do and totally tell they are british. Like leaking oil and other such things that british cars are famous for.
They also have super luxurious interiors. The seats in my 71 mini... the crappy no headrest kind are more comfortable than a 91 mercedes benz and thats because the germans are serious drivers and they have very firm and to the point seats.
along with being german means very little chrome and very little wood
british cars are the opposite... by no means "over engineered" in fact... quite underengineered. And british cars have lotsa chrome and lotsa wood.
British cars are also the most efficient space wise. The difference can be seen in our 98 Disco Series I vs our 01 Freelander. The disco is totally british. Leaks oil all over the place, doors are thin with low window lines steep windshield and nice soft and rather unsupportive seats. Freelander is totally BMW. Hard firm seats, thick doors and high windows with a very sloped windshield. (oh and we had oil leaks fixed 3 times under warranty, now its leaking again and out of warranty.... so we are just gonna let it leak)

british cars have character and thats why i like them
and believe me... i love american iron landyachts as you can see by my avatars and sigs all over the place.

Well, I'm close to the record, but I don't own a mini yet......
6'5.5" and 290lbs

My question for the big guys is how well do you actually fit in a mini?
Are modifications required? Prefered?

i like to class myself as "of normal stature" being 5' 7" tall and weighing in at 13 stone (before xmas!)....anyone over 5' 8" is a bit of a mutant in my book! ...so i dont break any records, but i bet my car is one of the lightest on here, weighing in at about 550kg's....so it sort of compensates for my robust build!
