It's easy so long as you have a nice sharp Snap-On oil seal pick and the clutch seal fitting sleeve/tool. The tool comes from Mini Spares, you put the sleeve over the primary gear to protect the seal from the splines, grease up the seal lip and slide it on, then put the tool in place and put the flywheel bolt back in. It winds the seal in to the correct depth and keeps it square. Then take the tool off and put the flywheel back on.

i'm not sure how much the tool costs but i would say it was worth it i tried fitting 2 seals without it and they both looked like they where seated correctlly, but 5 min with the engine running and another nice puddle of oil was underneath the car.

that engine needed other work doing on it, and i managed to gert hold of an unleaded engine so i cheated and cahnged engines, the iol seal was the iceing on the cake for that engine

but the job is simple, don't forget to drain the oil first

Are you sure that they don't do this tool anymore? Did you ask them or just check their (useless) website? Try other places, maybe Mini Mania ( I think they have just opened a place in Wales) since the tool is still on their website.
I do have this tool, and I can send it if you really need it but I am reluctant to trust it to the post (especially if it is NLA) as the sleeve is quite precisely machined with a nice surface finish to protect the seal lip and I try to keep it in nice condition. It really is nothing personal, I just don't trust couriers or the post not to destroy the thing.
It is a fairly heavy lump and posting it would cost a bit I would think.

Yes i have found it on the minimania site in america, although i have managed to hire one for the holiday from min-e-bitz in sheffield which has done the job brilliantly (inbetween the downpours) so now i have just got the starter to sort (stripped its threads as i took the nut off) and the vacuum pipe (which snapped as i caught it putting the rocker cover back on).
