im after a template for the rear posckets so i can tidy this part up,
anyone got any ideas or is it best to keep triming the wood down till it fits?
also whats best, just wedge it in or who do you fit them in nicely????
once there in i could do something with them,
maybe a place to hide a AMP or mount speakers in them, or use them as a pocket with a door or something
but how do i fix them in,
not sucreing the body tho

Make a hinged piece of wood, so it lifts up for storage underneath. Mount a small speaker in and a hole for a drinks holder. Sorted.

the way i did mine and this works when doing any kind of work is to make a template out of cardboard.
place the cardboard over the pocket and using a marker pen (non permanant)(so if you mark you lovely car it will wipe off) mark around the pocket, to the shape and size you want, then cut it out, this can then be trimed down until it fits nicelly into the pocket, a little tip it to use selotape and a peice of string as a handle to place the cardboard into the pocket.
then you can make a cover with mdf and then cover this with fabric to match the car, remebering to trim the mdf to allow for the thickness of the fabric.
