Doing the front is very quick....
All you need to do is remove the lip of the bonnet, two ways which come to mind are, either grinding the lip off with an angle grinder ( bit neanderthal but will work ) or drilling the spot welds out. The latter is my recommeded route..
Once that's done, its just replacing the grill with a MK1 and moustache if you want ( overriders would finish the job nicely )
The rear is a little more complex and requires the welfing in of plates over the existing rear lamp holes which have the fixings for the rear lights...

Once the lights are sorted, you may wish to drop on a MK1 style boot lid ( with the hinged number plate ) and, of course, the overriders again...
PS. When it comes to lights, depending on the age of your car, you may still have to retain the fog light.

After welding the plates at the rear there is some minor body fettling required and a rear end respray.
You will need to add a reversing lamp somewhere. Get a matching pair of fog and reverse which look a bit retro to hang under the bumper. Some people use the big ol' rally style reverse lamp on the boot lid, it's not entirely legal.
