So, the time has come to changing the O' ring seal on the gear linkage again..

But i have bought one of them advanced kits with the ally seal from minispares aswel.

Which way round does it all go?

I am guessing with common sense that

Rubber bit, shamferd bit facing out, ally bit pushed up against it, then the rubber squishy thing put onto the rod itself.

But if the shamferd bit is facing out, the ally bit won't butt onto it very smartly.

:erm:

the alloy spacer goes down the hole first, this supports the rod, then you put in the oil seal, it should have sort of hollow face, and a sort of flat face, the flat face it fitted facing you so its outwards.
the rubber bellows goes over the exsposed bit of the rod change that is left, but remember to put it on before reconnecting the gear linkage!
