hey folks
now there are still some issues - i basically had to do what i know to get the forum back up and running (invovled MySQL madness) and there seems to be a few things that are odd probably related to the files that i didnt change.
Is anyone familiar with MySQl?

One of the issues is that new posts dont seem to be automatically added to the search index, and the total posts and members figure is incorrect.

Right now any sections fine mark as long as we get everything going again!
Believe me if those are the only problems then we're doing VERY well! ;p
MR encountered these problems when switching?

hey dude
i think there is an underlying prob - if those three things are happeneing so could others.
We had a few problems but nothing like this. it's mostly the old hostings fault however

Maybe you could try this, dont kill me if it doesnt work but its worth a try.
the board runs
"Powered by Invision Power Board(U) v1.2 © 2003 IPS, Inc."
Now i arent sure, but i believe they normally do upgrade versions of the forum software. Download the upgrade files and upload/install them and see if its fixes the problem.
Worth a try, i did that with my old PhpBB2.
