I have a Pertronix Ignitor that I have never used and never will. I'll sell it to you if you want it cost over £60 including the postage. It is for the 43D - 45D distributor (blue points).

Hey believe what you like, just trying to help. You could phone MLM and speak to AC Dodd (just about the best A series engine tuner working today) who will tell you the same thing. I built my current motor with the Metro electronic dizzy (properly timed in and fitted) and it worked, but wasn't great. Took it down to AC, he did some testing and changed the weights and springs and the difference was immediately noticable in terms of driveability, reliability and power output.
Which reminds me, must go back to MLM soon for some fettling and a valve grind.

I currently use the Rover electronic dizzy (I had it re-tuned by MLM) in a 998 and it works very well. I did previously use the Magnetronic kit which was just as good.
Might be easier to get the magnetronic kit if its just as good then,
anywhere where I can get this online?
And tis WILL improve my starting and that?
