Yet again i am off the road due to the fact that a pot hole has caused quite a bit of damage including bending the sub frame and steering rack and various other parts. You wouldn't believe that a small hole in the road could mean that you'd need a new front sub-frame and driving gear, yet the local council seem determined not to pay out as they feel its not their fault and i'm going to be left footing a bill for at least £350, so not very happy at the moment as i cant afford to get the work done.

Took my car off the road too. Sorry to hear about the pothole...shame they wont pay out.
Took mine off road, because 25yrs has taken its toll on the car and it needs quiet abit of refurb.

Finally a bit of progress, just had a phone call off the guy fixing my car and he's located some of the parts i need so hopefully i should be back on the road by the end of next week with a bit of luck and just sold some of my engine parts to pay for the work, the joys of owning a mini. Hope you get your mini sorted soon jordie, but i think i may have to invest in another car for if anything like this happens again, not driven a car since new years eve and i miss my brum!!

I've just got a old nissan micra to run around in, while my car is off the road. See my progress page for progress on the mini.
