I'm thinking it must have started life as a 998cc Clubman, and will have had a remote change gearbox too, unless its a younger Clubby shell with an older registration. Have a look underneath at where the rod change housing sits and see if the shape of the tunnel is different to rod change cars.

IIRC, rod gearchange was introduced in 1973? It may have been rod change as standard as it's a '73 car.

I will have a look underneath when the weather clears up.

you doing any more modifications?


Oh yes! First of all I will get the ICE sorted, and also some Yoko A539's, as I cant stand skinny tyres. :ohno:

jus get another mirror for the passenger side

bet you cant wait to drive it!

any plans for retro mods, how about quad 7 inch spotlights? :wink:

best get it started up in the project section.

just looking at the pictures and noticed its got no head unit will one of them be going in i think a good 1 will finish the car off really well

I drive with no exterior mirrors, its a pain at times but means you can fit through small gaps even better :ohno:

Yep, equinox seats and doorcards.. :grin:

Just need to get some equinox, or similar headrests as mine are missing.
