dose anyone know what the torque diff is??
Depends where it makes those 20 horses if it doesn't rev more then it'll likely be proportionally more torque throughout the rev range.
Considering how much bike engines rev the difference won't be a lot till you really get it spinning.

Why not? I change gear when the valves bounce.well i think the R1 rev's to about 12,000rpm BUT we prob wont be reving it that much ever..

lol i no yeh
Coming more from a bike background than mini one. On a bike twenty bhp is a huge difference especially when its on/in something that weighs around 170kg, there will be more torque from lower in the rev range and a smoother power delivery all the way upto the 14000 rev limit and you will use it cause these things start to pick up after 9000. Most bikers rave about power comanders and race exhaust systems when in reality they are only gaining about 10bhp extra, but this 10bhp can definatley be felt.
The manufacturers measure the bhp from the crank and not the wheels and also include the ram air effect into a preasurized air box, which most of us threw away, so were down on the bhp straight away. I assume the 180bhp engine is a later one with revised and lighter internals, fuel injection etc...get the 180bhp.It will be more powerful, but it wont be 180 nooooo waaaay.
