OZ Minis have different spec to UK cars.
I would guess that it could be a parking light switch, does it have a central position?
Are the wires factory spec?
Siggy

Sean, could you stick up a picture of your dash please? I've wanted to know about Oz dashboards for a while now. Especially the more advanced heater control thing in the middle and the switches and stuff.

If its got a left and right position as well as an off position, almost positive that this is a parking light switch. Is it an illuminated switch? How many wires come out from the back of it?
P.S. Check if it works. Stick it to the right position get outside and check if your right sidelights are working!
