The other week I found myself sleeping in my mini, not the most comfortable thing to do when your 6ft, but lessons were learnt:
1: Seat as far back as it will go and reclined all the way back.
2: Legs across the car into the passenger foot well (Careful of the gear knob)
3: Keep warm
I was very glad I had left a sleeping bag in the car as it was freezing, and I found a pillow as well!

Nothing bad, I took someone to the airport at 5am and slept in the car for a bit, got too cold so woke my brother up (He live next to the airport) at a more resonable time of 9am.

iv slept in mine quite a lot, found the best way is to lay your body on the back seat, tilt both the front seats forward and have ur legs dangle down there

I seem to remember in the 60s cartoons of people's feet stuck out of the headlamps. But perhaps that wasn't to do with sleeping?

Did anyone see that mini at IMM with a home built bed frame along the passenger side - from back parcel shelf, to front dash?? Not much headroom - but servicable!!
I didnt see the owner/driver but apparently he was a large bloke!!

1. remove passenger seat
2. for extra flatness cut out rear seat behind passenger and place matress down.
3. after a long drive, stop somewhere safe and shuffle accross to the passenger side and take a nap.
