Positive now that my front subby mounts are  up since when turning the steering wheel left and right the engine and subby moves but the car doesn't...

Problem now is that my tower mount bolts (the huge ones) are kind of loose. I guess they should be since they got bushes there, but I can move it a good cm by getting a long prybar and sticking it between the bolt head and the gusset between the wing and bulkhead...

What's worse is that on the passenger side the bolt head is about a mm away from the gusset (making it very hard to put on a socket) and on the driver's side theres 3-4mm so socket slides on easy. After a bit of prying with the long metal stick, the passenger side bolt is now close to 2mm away from the gusset and I can just about put the socket on... They're torqued up quite good...

Guess I need a full set for a front subby now. Too bad nobody in Cyprus stocks them!

Am I right in assuming that I don't need to drop the subframe completely to change all the bushes?

The tower ones u will need to drop the subframe ab inch or two. Support the car on axle stands and use a good strong jack to lift and lower the engine.
