I bought some delux angel eyes from mini trailers yesterday and had a go at fitting them myself using the included instructions.

Has anyone ever fitted them that might be able to help ?

There are extra wires and i could'nt work out what they are for.

have you got any wiring diagrams with them.... alternatively, get a couple of wires and connect to a battery, there's probably only one earth for the lot, then trial and error will tell you which wire's connected to what...

They should be a straight swap, but the extra wire(s) are for the halo I suspect

Have these extra wires got bulbs on the end?
If so, just cut off the sidelight holder and bulb, use some crimp on connectors or solder/heat shrink tubing to attach these wires to the sidelight connection, push the bulbs into the hole in the back of the lamp for the halo and hey presto - angel eye halos!
This is what I did for mine anyway, assuming that you have the same angels as me, as I got mine from Huddersfield Spares.
