my mini's (year1995) blower-heater motor (interior) is slowly coming to it's natural end (it's roaring like a lawnmower) - i'll have to replace it one day, but the original one costs around 300 £ (here, in Latvia).
Do anyone have any suggestion of an alternative motor(or maybe the whole interior heating system) of any other make (more "popular", like opel or honda etc.) , that would fit Mini more or less, and cost less?

I would have thought that e-bay would be your best bet. There are many Mini heaters usually for sale on there, even with shipping, will be loads cheaper.
