Varies widly between spec and company/engine builder. So I'm going with £600-£10,000.

I have just priced it up to do mine but theres no labour included as i do all the build work myself.

My local machine shop will bore the block for £100 offset or not.
I am going to use the hepolite pistons as i am on a very tight buget(5 kids)
They are not the best but thet will do for me and you are looking at £180ish for them.

hope this helps

Obviously you will need gaskets,in my case a better carb and exhaust, and i dare say loads of bits and bobs you can not add up till you do it.

Erm, this is an SPi right?... I didn't think the SPi ecu could handle a 1380 without some jiggery pokey i.e.... replace it.

Unless you're ditching the Injection system.

Depends what power he hopes to make. I believe its the map that runs out of fuel above 90bhp?

Moved to 'Injection Specific'.

above 90 bhp and you struggle to get it through an emissions test. You can get it through an emissions test but it then runs mega lean at wide open throttle.

100bhp + is achieveble if you take this into consideration and that is on a standard ECU. The trick is knowing how to do this.
