Awesome, can't see the gearbox liking those clutch-less changes for very long though!! Goes to show how much skill is needed to get the most from a Mini on a rally stage

In F1 racing on tv they have G-force graphics ... in mini rallying we have keyrings!

this piece of footage is taken from a short doc produced by castrol called the "flying finns" back in the early 70's and focused on the duel between makkinen and Hannu Mikkola (ford escort) at the 1000 lakes rally in finland. other other bit of this footage is in car with mikkola to highlight the different driving styles between fwd and rwd
