i am starting to experiment with led's inside the car (after inspiration by the mood lighting post)
i am going to replace the interior light with a small lense and about 4 high power laser led's
i am putting footwell lights in, so that when you open the doors they come on and illuminate the footwells red. using pcb, and bout 6 high power laser led's, i am also putting them in the bottom of a modified interior mirror (i am going to try and fit one from an escort or something) so they shine down into the interior and look dead subtle but nice adding atmosphere to the inside.
all my led's will be red or blue. (probably blue because its relaxing :turn: )
when i do these, i will be doing how to's for each item if they work well.

Keep in mind most LED's are VERY directional (only bout 20 degrees), so using them for a lot of lighting wont work very well. I tried this already, in footwells AND interior light, on several cars.

You have to either position a number of them like a fan to face different directions, or sand them, or use mirrors...

Simply slapping a few on will give you the nice colour spot, and it will be bright, but itll be like a bunch of spotlights, and for interior lighting u dont really want a torch in your face!

be used two blue uv's, one was a dark blue and other being a light blue, looks so so nice haven the two blues mix, everyone who has seen this realy likes the idea...
