Hi guys
Can someone please give me a guide on how to replace the a pannels on a 1989 mini mayfair what is involved special tools welding ect??

Yep you'll have to weld. It's not a difficult job for a weldor but obviously if you can't weld, then it'll seem very difficult :]
From what I've read on UK forums, replacing the A-panels isn't expensive so if I were you I'd go to a mini specialist who could do it for you. Then you could arrange to have them resprayed or even do it yourself with cans since your car is white, you can get the original white colour put in a can and with some prep and care you can have the a panels looking as new.
