Can anyone advise what spark plug is the manufacturer recommended for a 1994 1.3 injected?

I prefer to use champion RN9YCC.

Maybe so, but Champion are American owned anyway so you're not being terribly patriotic after all.

That's quite true Sprocket, but didn't Rover also specify 10w/30 oil?
Anyway, as long as the plugs do the job.

lol thats what the handbook says, and its a bit silly. maybe thats why some mpi 'boxes dont last long10 W 30????

always use NGK - although i have plugs from a VW Golf as they are 3 pronged!!
also 20W50 is the right oil no??

20w50 is perfect oil for a mini regardless of what it is. i have bosch super 4 plugs in my mpi at the moment, the 4 prongs make no difference except they last longer. a common misconception is that the more prongs on the plug the more power it gives (most people think it gives 4 sparks), it only will give 1 spark, and will always go for the closest prong. however they tend to give consistent sparks for longer as 4 prongs will take more time to wear than just 1.
