Before i stripped the front of the car down to do some minor bodywork , my indicators worked fine.
however , after painting and complaeting the wings , i put back on my indicators (i never had the wiring attahcment off , just the bulbs out and the holdster wrapped in a plastic bag).
The indicators work fine , front , rear and side , however , they will not flash. they stay on constant.
my hazards are workinmg perfectly.
am i right in thinking that the indicators run on a separate flasher unit and this could be the problem? or could it be a bad earth connection , however is doubtful since they are illuminating?
where would i find the indicator flasher if i have one
the car is a rover 1991 city e.
cheers
matt
