Well ive finally got around to taking my car off the road, so i can give it a full resto, with alot better perfomance too.

Started taking it apart today, and this is how it stands at the moment, ive got all of the interior out (which is for sale) as well as the petrol tank.

This is the one of the bits ive got to put onto the car, aswell as a carbon fibre boot floor from curley.

I also plan on ordering a 2 piece CF flip front and bootlid off curley too.

Next week im hoping to borrow my boss's engine crane, so i can swap the subframes over, so i can start taking the engine apart.

Right, got a little more done on the car today, got both hubs off and the driveshafts out the gearbox, and got the front of the car sitting on blocks (ready to get the engine and subframe off.

Not alot done really, as shortly after this, the pub and the villa match was calling

I will get pictures when i get some time in the light.

I had a go at cutting the front end off this morning, all ive got left to do, is drill the spot welds out of what remains of the inner wings and take the A panels off.

The only bits of rot ive found so far is a small hole at the bottom of the N/S innerwing and a small bit by the O/S Shock mount. So far its not looking to bad.

Thanks, the fronts not too bad, its the boot floor thats as rotten as hell, thats why its soon to be carbon ;D

Found another wiring loom out this evening, so at some point im going to have a go at making a custom loom, for when the shell is finished.

Thanks guys.

Hopefully either tomorrow or friday, il remove the rear subframe, and all the trim from the back. so at the weekend i can get the hinge panel, and valance removed, so i can cut out the sections of the boot floor i need to replace.

Mike
