Well here goes - as promised to everyone at this years BH2N. (If anyone wants a once in a lifetime experience it's BH2N - believe me!!!!)

After such a great time with a fantastic bunch of loonies, I decided that a double bed/trailer to hold all my disco gear,projector,lasers,PS2 and large screen was what's needed for BH2N 2008 (BIGGER, better, louder!!!)

I've just started on "The minger" trailer/double bed. This will be, for those who don't know, a sister to my "LaBitch" mini 35. Same paint job, trim and new graphics.

I've purchased bits from other forum members - thanx goes out to daryl crossley (flip front) and mni_steve (tahiti shell)





So far I've rolled shell onto side and started stripping down all pipes, cables, dangly bits.

Latest addition is glassfibre boot - getting the weight down big stylie!!!!




More pix soon - taking out centre tunnel & replacing with flat plate whole length of vehicle.

Decided to extend shed that holds ride-on lawnmower. Got loads of small & large pallets + lots of industrial shrink wrap. Woopee!!!!!




Got shell on its side now and stripping like a good 'un. Will take off back subbie tomorrow and build my extension up.



Decided to buy some 550kg mini hub suspension axles to replace existing subbie/shocks etc - more weight off yeah!!!!

Managed to get some work done today before packing up with dreaded sore throat, spinning head, aching bits etc.


Took off rear subbie and built up more extension thingy (all work including painting, internal fitting out etc. will be done under this thingy!!!)






Its 5pm now & I feel like c++p so I'm off to bed - but good days work done.

Hi all - back in action again after my "man flu".

Been building up extension/enclosure for project (pix to follow) and grinding off unnecessary bitz on bottom of shell.
Used P40 to repair & fill up bolt holes/rust etc.

Obtained a piece of marine ply 9mm thick which I'll use for internal floor - hinged in places for storage!!!

I've had a word with TDK Racing about possibly getting a fibreglass body with all windows intact (in fibreglass), f/glass doors and having a hatchback door on the rear!!!!!!

If I mount it onto existing floor it should save a bundle on weight, which is my main worry about this project.




As it's going to rain tomorrow (Sunday), I'll be concentrating on building 4 large 250watt bins + 1 large sub bin, I'm taking in above trailer to BH2NRR.
