Think I may try and ascertain if I really need all that stuff, due to cost!

I want to keep 10" wheels so may try find some suitable cooper S calipers and then buy the disks/pads/CV joints new. This way there will be less work than changing the shafts etc. Can always do the 4pot upgrade at a later date.

Probably best, plus your also get more our of your 1275, as you'll be able to use the engine a little more as ( I hope ) at the moment you're probably holding back a bit because of the confidence level in the brakes... :lol:

If you want to keep the classic look then stick with the AP calipers, but for the not too many pennies more the alloy 4 pots are stunning, I have set on mine and they are truely awesome, not only are the brakes better, but they also knock pounds of the un-spung weight providing even better handling.
