dont know

why not ask them

personaly wouldnt touch it, it isnt either Borg and Beck or Valeo.

Chances are its just a boggo standard clutch being sold as an SPi/MPi, be carefull as they are not the same. Look the same, but they are not!!

If you want to upgrade your clutch, you need the AP racing friction plate and the Turbo or Minispares uprated pressure plate. Both require a modification to the reluctor ring in the flywheel

Not for what you are running Giles. Unless you are going to run serious bananas not needed. also your valeo plate will wear out quicker by going to the nurburgring 2 times. trust me.

Valeo plate is 45 from spares and you gets your discount too.

Keep the sports packs :(

Not just because i say so, but because you know these wheels were specificaly designed for the car to take into consideration the steering and suspention geometry :)

i agree. although i say stick some 12 inch rover minilights on, and see how light the steering feels.

I saw those on ebay as well - wouldnt go near them - 1990, SPi and Mpi revisions saw different clutches for each. Was about a hairs width from messaging the seller to tell him so! :P

'Factory fit' should be enough evidence :teehee:

Put it this way, there is no way that Rover would have sold a car to the general public if there was any sort of problems with steering and suspention geometry causing undesireble handling and driving characteristics. The consumers would be back to the showrooms with complaints. Warranty claims would be high, even if it was just a lookie see on the ramps to try and find a fault the customer was complaining of that just wasnt there. Wont happen, as the manufacturer takes this into consideration, when justifying ceratin modifications to 'standard' specification. There would have been several thousand pounds spent on testing to determine the true effects of the changes, this is a Motor manufacturer, its not like they just stuck the 13" wheels on it and hoped for the best. The testing would have been exhaustive, not 'ooh that looks ok; Aproved!!'

Factory Fit says it all!!

Need I say more?

Sprocket we are talking about Rover here not Honda... in the case of Sportspack wheels...I think it really was a case of bolt on, rivet big arches...and hope for the best :D
