legally yes.. but how many people actually care??
no i wouldnt let anyone talk to me like that.. but my boss just says it comes with the job.
lol
That is completely out of order.
I bet if you spoke like that to your boss he would mind, and if you then gently tapped him on the cheak and said dont worry poppet it comes with the job, he would definately have something to say!!!!
If your boss is rubbish then go higer.
You do not have to work in an environment where people abuse you (unless you in the police, fire service, hospitals etc...)

You do not have to work in an environment where people abuse you.........
Is that why you left us Charlie?
As above, go higher than the people that abuse you........
BUT........ If you've definitely had enough, try to leave without burning your bridges. It's always nice to have the option to go back should you need to.
Failing that, just hide kippers everywhere!

Just walk in on the last day... And punch the person who said that to you.. Then skip away giggling..
And then not get a job because you have a criminal record

No, but getting moved upstairs becasue I talked about minis with you all day still hurts!
Still have days where I wish I was back there.
Ah well at least I have business cards now!

It wasn't just because you talked about minis!
Aaaanyway, Matt, if it's deffo that bad and you have to leave, do it. That's what I'm doing. BUT, when I leave here I'll make damn sure that I have the option of coming back..
As a matter of fact I know full well that CB would be welcome back here if he wanted to return, it's just a damn good thing to know when you're moving jobs.

The first job I quit (I was 21), I photocopied my arse & t1ts & hid copies in the desk drawers of everybody in the department....
I'm afraid we might need copies of these....
