What kind of box-section steel can one use to make a spaceframe chassis (e.g. Locost Seven Replica). I don't even know how they're measured to be honest...
25mm box section of 2mm steel? I'm pretty sure I've seen that used somewhere...

it would be best to buy Ron Champions book "how to build a sports car for under £250 (and race it)"
Its what i did ,
I now have a finished space frame chassis sitting in my workshop ,
built all my own suspension (CDS tube)
got all the wings
got all the running gear
One day i might even get round to putting it all together !

I looked at that book, don't plan on buying it, because after browsing some of those type of forums I feel like I read it anyway. I also read others such as Car Suspension Design, Car Chassis Design, suspension tuning etc.
ANyway, after a refreshing visit to a kit-car forum yesterday, found out that people use 1.6mm or 2.0mm thick 1" box section steel.
