My gearbox currently has lost the syncomesh on second gear (we think) and i was wondering what is better to have on a 998, it is currently standard but a stage 1 will be put on later this year once college has been finished. I do alot of town driving but also some motorway so i will need a box which will allow me to still keep a good mpg driving around and also be reliable.

Standard box is fine with a 998 even with a stage 1 kit.

But do fit a centre oil pick up pipe.
