basically ive had a quote for a car at just over £800 yet a traders policy is just over £1000 from the 1 quote ive had. anyone know of cheap traders policys i can check out?! im not 100% certain what the exact difference between traders and private is - i know it means youre road legal, but what else?!

Its been mentioned a few weeks back.. Search.. 'Trade Insurance' And theres alot of info there.

Remember a traders policy is for someone trading with cars. And you have to post your MIDs every month or so.
Motor Insurance Database = MIDs. Or they will cancel your policy. My policy is through Norton insurance (Brokers for trade)
Highway insurance £800 per year.

yea the online quote i did asked if i paid VAT or not, traded at home etc etc so i ticked all the right boxes but it didnt say anything about declaring something or MIDs etc looks like i might just have to get ripped off then or not bother, which would be a shame
