Hello, i searched the forum and could find an answer to this one.....There are 2 vacuum hoses that come out the back of a SPI inlet manifold. One of mine goes to the fuel trap then on to the MAP sensor and the other doesn't go anywhere. What should this be connected to? My guess is the air cleaner?? Help!!

i think the other one is red if it is it should connect to the air box unless you have a K&N cone filter in which case thier should be a screw in the end of the pipe.

ok this is of the top of my head so please bear with me if i am wrong. On hte under side of the air box you should have two connection points and a brass nut moulded into the plastic the brass nut should have a green sensor screwed into it, the connection point in between the green sesnor and the outer connection point is where the red pipe goes, the outer connection point you should have a yellow pipe which connects to a thing on top of the air box.

Hope this makes sense, i don't know the actual names so i hope somebody else will be able to correct any thing i have said that is wrong.

can i just ask do you have a white pipe going to the fuel trap

Thats sounds good to me. My air cleaner box doesnt have any hoses or pipework at all connected to it, no colours or right angled fittings... I will have to pipe it up from scratch... Thanks Mate!
