I can also second that...Myself and JetBLICK went to Collins Motoring services in Erdington, on the edge of Birmingham about 35-40 mins from cov. He did a fantastic job with both our cars and is a really top bloke.

cheers for that starmag, great help!
jus another thing before i go spending my hard earned cash, they offer 4 different options for the rolling road tuning, 1hour, 2 hour, half day and full day.
to be honest i couldnt afford a full day, so which out of the
other 3 options would you recomend? and how much u reckon VAT would add to the price?
i cant see her needing much work, just yer basic tune up to get better performance out of the 1275 A+

My car needed about an hour and a half because it had never been set up properly before and needed a couple of new ignition bits- which to be honest i should have replaced myself before the rolling road. JetBLICK's car was only on the rollers for 1 hour and didn't need anything fitted.
So if you want to keep costs down i would make sure all your ignition system is in good order, things like spark plugs, points, dizzy cap etc that way it'll just be a tune on the rolling road. So an hour would be just over £50, but i would suggest you give them a ring and have a chat about it.
I've also heard good things about SMMC so it might be worth giving them a ring or popping over there to have a chat and see what they suggest

Speak to Colin at SMMC he knows his stuff and will not over charge you or take the pi55 like some other places. its also a bit closer to you if you are Cov.

just under a month! gotta be, i was there 4 weeks ago. lol. Yer, they said 60 for the first hour and 45 for ever hour after that for setting up my weber. And apparently they have never done one in over an hour!
And they dont get oodles of complaints anymore because there in the middle of nowhere.
Good group of guys, been in the game for years, no their stuff, enjoy their work and dont overcharge.
