Lad with ADHD on Jezza Vine's Radio 2 slot...

Jezza "why did the school exclude you?"

Lad "I head butted a teacher, they said I was disruptive but I'm ok when I get my own way."

Jezza "what do you want to do with your life"

Lad, after several attempts to get him to grasp the point of the question,
"I want to join the Army"

:dontgetit: =] =] :) :P

There just aren't enough smilies to cover the gob smackedness.

that is so stupid, i truly hate people who believe they can get there own way, in the slight chance he gets into the army (not that he will) he will soon realise in life its not the way the world works!! :D

Might check out the BEEB site to see if it's on 'listen again'.

I don't think it's fair to belittle people who conditions like ADHD but this lad clearly had some other issues and his 'support worker' or whoever clearly wasn't doing him any favours :D

I have a mate who works at what you might call the more challenging end of education. He got a rollocking for "undermining the self esteem" of a lad who had ambitions of becoming a doctor. The lad was 15 with a reading age of 8 ^_^

its fair not to put people down, perhaps some people can change but violence isnt somthing which can usualy change...not always tho person at mums work got turned into (by the sounds of it) the most religious christian in the world some of the stuff which iv been told he says makes me laugh, rehabilitation works bt then need re-rehabilitation from christianity :D
some cases the firmness of the british army will put a person right but is an indervidual thing

Maybe a stint in the army would teach all these people that suffer from dyslexia how to spell properly... ^_^ :D
