No?! I also did this, except it was a pan of bovril when I was 4. My Nan didn't know what to do as everyone was out and she knew zip about first aid (as most didn't in the 80's) and so she put all sorts on it for 2-3 hours; butter, lotions, oil, talc, cream (the dairy type) but NOT WATER! I think she was just trying to flavour me...
The skin on my thighs inflated like a balloon, but just like you bean - no scars at all thank God.
hmm... how did we get off of toast?!

Mum picked me up and put me in the shower! stood there and i turned to ice, lol
my thigh was bright red for a few days and i had a tiny blister near my ankle.... but none of that remains!!

Painful.
I have a wee history of damaging my self with liquids thogh - when I was one and a half I pulled a chaging battery onto myself which melted my babygrow suit thingy. Dad bunged me in the sink pretty quick though and washed all the acid off, so again luckily, no scars.

oooo! Which is worse to my mind, as you can probably remember it really well.

lol, ohhhh yes!
what's worse is...
it was a whistling kettle with a metal handle!! I only dropped the kettle of water because i'd picked it up off the boil and burnt my hand!!
