Im no good with pc's lol, so help someone can help...

Something has been installed on my computer, its running in the bottom right corner, its called 'seekmo', all it seems to do is pop up random pages when im on the net, even thought my pop up blocker is on.

I went in to add/remove programs, and removed it, but its still there, although it has gone from the list of add/remove programs.

I just did i file/folder search for 'seekmo' which brought up a few folders, managed to delete a couple, but the rest wont let me, it says its access denied

Any ideas to get rid of it???

cheers

Mark.

Go to download.com and download Adaware and Sybot-Search and destroy. Install them then scan your computer. Might take an evening but they should get rid of the annoying little thing.

If that doesn't work, download AVG, free virus scanner.

How can I get rid of Seekmo?

The most common spyware removal tactic is to uninstall Seekmo by using the "Add/Remove Programs" utility. However, as there may still be hidden Seekmo files, it's possible that Seekmo will reappear after reboot. Follow the Seekmo detection and removal methods below.
