Glad you've been enjoying the weather today, i was up the top of a chimney stack on someones house replacing a bell box on their alarm system after the guy decided that ripping the wiring out the sounder was a better option than replacing a blown fuse.

Of course the rain was pelting down and my ladders were freezing.

Love it when it snows, but i hate it when i have to get the ladders off the van when they're practically frozen to the roofbars!

Iwas in Vegas a few years back around September and it was in the 100's but the humidity was very low.

Dry as anything today, very pleasant to walk round in, watching the local forecast it appears it's about to change & start to get colder. We're going to try to drive to the Grand Canyon & back tomorrow just under 600 mile round trip, once in a life time trip so you've got to try fit everything in.

i was up the top of a chimney stack on someones house replacing a bell box on their alarm system after the guy decided that ripping the wiring out the sounder was a better option than replacing a blown fuse.

It's also a good method to silence a SAB when the backup battery has gone bad, SAB goes into tamper mode and the damn thing won't stop..........Must sort that out sometime.

I don't know why anyone bothers with bells anymore - they just get ignored, or get reported as "Faulty" without anyone investigating to see if a break-in HAS happend.




The weather up here has just been a mix of rain and no rain.....and a bit of cold thrown in for good measure. Gimme a good thunder storm or heavy snow anytime, at least it's something different!
