Is it just me or are all of those free car checks not working anymore? I can't get the DVLA, RAC or AA ones up.

DVLA isn't working for me. Bizarrely it comes up with a message saying it is closed from 13th to 14th October or something

Yep thats what it said for me too. Tryed taxing my car online too and got the same message.

You get to join a nice friendly long queue at the Post Office instead lol

In fairness with the state of the postal service at the moment it's probably safest not to have anything sent to you if possible...

Not around here anyway! I am waiting for 4 letters and a parcel at the moment, dating back up to 3 weeks

i have a friend who works for the royal mail. he showed me a few pics he took on his mobile phone of the backlog the royal mail has. according to a spokes person on the radio yesterday there is no backlog whatsoever! bol**cks!
