Well we don't deserve to go through, and at least our team 'should' get shaken up now. Carson did ok redeemed himself a little with some fine saves. Where was Gerrard tho? Nothing like he was for liverpool week in week out. Taking Cole off and leaving Lampard on? Don't understand that decision at all, but then again I don't like lampard.
Sigh, same old same old from England as of late, Beckham was the only person who seemed to shake it up aswell....

I think Crouchy played really well as Shearer said, but apart from that they were all rubbish! I certainly wouldn't let Lampard or Bridge in any England team I managed!

Better get your CV together if you're serious, probably a vacancy opening soon!
At least we should get a home internationals tournament next summer, I'm honestly more excited about that, should be pretty awesome!

Carson, i think nerves got the better of the first goal, second goal defence? where?? third goal, saw it last and no chance. I still think he is a quality keeper and will be wearing the england number one shirt later in life.
I think muppet of the match HAS to go to clamaity Bridge. Im sorry but there is no way he should have started that game, nicky shorey should have been in the left back slot.
Gerrard well he was ok but wasnt his usual electric self but as mentioend why the hell was lampard left on and barry taken off? he didnt do anything in the first half. When Srna had a go at lamps i think it would have been more effective if the ref had just shown him the red and then knocked the clean out.
On the upside, SWP had a good game, shame he has to give way to becks, but saying that crouch the sparrow's goal was awesome.
Expect Shearer was kinda happy as he is rumoured to be the next england manager the FA have lined up. so another proven successful manger we get

nope, it will go to Ben Foster aslong as when he comes back from injury he still has the skill he did when on loan @ watford
The other thing that annoyed me in that match (as well as any other football match) is the shocking free kick and corner taking. In the first half i don't think a single set piece got past the first man!!
If i was paid £100,000+ a week and trained every day of the week i could land it exactly where i want it every time. The only person we have who can do that is Beckham. And he only got 45mins
