Is The Doctors Worth It For A Suspected Chest Infection?

I have been working out in a cold garage for a little while and now think I also have a mild cold which probably isn't helping matters.
I do get really hungry, but then just lose my apetite really easily when I start eating.
So a couple of people have said they think I have a chest infection and that I should go see a doctor. My dad had pneumonia a couple of years back and I think he suffered from a loss of apetite too. Personally I think you should only bother going to a doctor if your arm is hanging off.
Anyone like to confirm whether they think its a chest infection I have? Or whether its serious enough to warrent a trip to Mr Latex Gloves?

Ok, ok, I'll go and see the Doc!
To answer a couple of the questions, I do have a chesty cough at the mo, but wasn't sure whether that was just the cold (although I don't feel that nasely), but I have been sneezing a little bit more than usual lately (but not a great deal).
Its more a case I think that my cheat and stomach begin to ache after a few minutes of eating, and things like a cuppa tea, or orange juice can hurt to drink. I suppose you could describe that as indigestion type symptons.

Go and see the Dr, that's what he's there for.... if he says you're fine, that's even better!

You're describing the symptoms of hundreds of possible causes.... the thing that springs to my mind is a Hiatus Hernia, increase in stomach acids, or possibly a small Ulcer.... Hopefuly it's just a mild chest infection or torn muscle though.
Amy, you are a hypochondriac's wet dream!

Nurse Raz will make you better
Personally I think you should only bother going to a doctor if your arm is hanging off.
Thats silly!!! Stuff like meningitis sometimes have little symptoms to start off with and you wouldnt want to risk that!! If in doubt....listen to Raz and go to docs!!
