over the last few days i have noticed my ce est 1275 metro sport engine is blowing oil out of the dipstick hole and alot of pressure seems to be blowing out of the oil filler cap/if i look inside the rocker cover the oil laying inside seems be be bubbling from head any idea

i changed the head gasket today but no difference

check all you breathers, chances are that ur oil cap or crank case breather is blocked

This is not good! Could be piston rings to be honest. Does the car burn any oil?

the breather in the cap is almost like steaming out of the holes and i have checked both of the breathers(i have blown down them) and both are ok and i have taken them of the carb and put those lil filters on them. i dont really know if it burns oil it is losing to much from the blowing out to tell.

Stick a spring on the end of the dipstick with the other end somewhere on the engine, mines hooked on the distributor clamp thing. This should stop you loosing too much oil. The most common way of telling whether you are burning oil though is to see whether there is a bluey white smoke coming out your exhaust when the engine is running.

Is the oil been thrown out the dipstick at idle... and have you done a compression test...

The only thing which can cause that amout of crankcase pressure is a blown piston or ring.

I agree with GuessWorks. Do a compression test. Also, if you can borrow one (or want to make one) do a "leak-down-test". Google for leak-down-tester and read up on them. Basically using this tool combined with an air compressor and good ears will allow you to determine if you have a problem and whether it's the rings, valves, or head gasket.

With the amount of pressure you're describing, I'm inclined to say you have broken rings.

yup i'd also say broken rings/ melted pistons.
mine did exactly the same when i blew 3&4 to pieces, wasn't too bad at idle but as soon as i hit boost it threw the oil out of any hole it could!

*edit* i've got an MG engine for sale if you want it...lol

Bud666... is the person in your picture/avatar "Bob Ross"? The man in your picture looks just like a guy who had a DIY art/painting show over here. He was very entertaining. Unfortunately he passed away a few years ago from cancer.

Don't forget "a little burnt umber" and "some little branches just poking out over here". He had a voice that could lul anyone to sleep. I miss his shows.
