Well I’m now 200 qwid lighter than I was this morning and ended up with a front panel, 2 wings, 2 a panels, 2 mk1 inner a panels, 2 scuttle corners, 2 supports, 2 flinch panels, 2 front floors, pair of outer sills, a battery box and a pair of mk2 lights.
Lost count of the amount of times I was in and out of the show carrying panels back to the car.

w00P! Firstly my mini made it there and back with no problems at all (apart from slight rocker cover leak which i new was going to happen) - 60-70mph most of the way -'twas great! Not bad economy either 236 miles on just under 1 tank.
It was a great show, much bigger than i expected with lots of trade stands - I was busy shopping and mooching around most of the time - ended up buying a few handy spares and tools, a boot board kt, some new seals and a breather.
There was a great range of minis there too; prestige MK1 originals and replicas, standard minis, modded minis, big ICE minis, big engine minis, bike engine minis, fibreglass minis, mini varients - all sorts really, so it was good to have a look around.
It was also a great buzz having my mini on show, people complimenting it, taking pictures and things was great - So thanks for that opportunity! I think we all represented the forum wonderfully with our cars I was abit worried at first because all of the minis look so clean and polished - i hadn't had chance to clean mine and arrived with a layer of road grime all over the chrome! Wasn't so bad after i'd cleaned it up as best as i could with kitchen towel
Quick thanks to the guy in the beastly 7 port rally mini next to me - after he gave me abit of advice on one of the carb breathers and after i'd blanked off one of them and add a breather to another my mini was running much better on the way home - air getting into the carb was causing it to un too lean!
Was a great show definatly worth the 2 and a half hour drive for me!
Took a few pics too
