Wooooooo What a day

Was a good day, but floating between three clubs was hard work

The Van didn't make it, but he was there in sprit.

Glad to see loads of people again!
The meal was AWESOME a night I won't forget very soon, how many people got lost with Pie-rections?

Yep, if you went up the ramp from the level yours was on and on the right hand side along the back wall was another 25.

It was my first time at Malvern and I thought it was a good show, I bought a mk1 boot,rear lights and conversion plates all in good condition and spent less than £100

thank you everyone who was here it makes the day better when we al have so much fun, and yes i did stop roo and raz from running away, but roo took the last two pics anyway..

it was good to catch up with those that i allready knew and meet those who i hadnt met before

baught 2 new tyres and some service spares to take back to canada with me


as for the show it was brill to see so many traders there and not just mini traders either.

Well I’m now 200 qwid lighter than I was this morning and ended up with a front panel, 2 wings, 2 a panels, 2 mk1 inner a panels, 2 scuttle corners, 2 supports, 2 flinch panels, 2 front floors, pair of outer sills, a battery box and a pair of mk2 lights.

Lost count of the amount of times I was in and out of the show carrying panels back to the car.

Well im back now after going to the pub with people.
The meal last night was great, and we had lots of fun, but the show was, amusing to say the least.

The show;

Me and Matt arrived at 8:30 and i did my best and blagged us in for free. After meeting up with bean, mini93, wolfy, pikey and mini magic we went looking for our stand. Roo had a part in blaggin a stand as they hadnt marked one for us, anyway we got one indoors after us plannign for outdoors
Not to fear we would impress later on.
So then cars are arriving for the TMF stand and the errection of the "circus tent" went smoothly-ish. Then we were told "6 cars maximum" I then explained we had a stand booked for 12 cars, and managed to persude the bloke to let us have 8 cars on, which ended up as 14 cars!

The cars were;

Jammys vtec!!!! oh come on, like that will ever happen, the real list;

Beans Reggie (will mention this later, thankyou bean)

Monterous's blue and black mini (loveley wheels, thankyou)
Wolfys very clean and shiney mini (thankyou)
Minimadmikes sparkling mini (WOW!! and thankyou)
Navyseals (matt) 7port (covered in fresh cow poo and mud)
Rogers (TMF id- follow me im lost) muddy works replica
Ashley Tippings nice grey mini
Mini Magics mini (with new sparkly wheels and dented camera thankyou)
Starmag1275GTs 1275gt clubby (more on this later, cheers craig)
Chrisholland s ruby red mini (thank you you mad pair)
and of course
How could you miss him
The jolly green giants car..... NEV PAYNE (and i thought mini mad me was tall!)

Was very surprised to see TMFs cowboy there, who moved to canada in september, was working nearby and popped along.
Other TMF faces that i saw were;

*Bec* (who is just so lovely and very mad! JewBLICK, baby bek, minimegz, THE STIG, roo was on another stand, as was Mad4mins. Minimag team and TMF members rugmaster and CMcB were also wandering the stands and we managed to get jeff (rigmaster) in the TMF photo too, which we hope will be in minimag.
And of course all the others from the meal the previous night.

Anyway, so i managed to blag 14 cars on the stand. We then set the generator up outside and had the tea urn up for hot drinks.

Then bean FINALLY got what she was waiting for, yes a piece of my loaf
I told her i would bake her some bread if she came to she show, this then turned into me baking a weetibix fruit loaf. She was worried, i could see it in her eyes, as it was solid, like a brick!! ill admit i was a little worried as our oven is a little....well lets just say the thermostat is broken
I finally managed to saw a bit off, and she kinda accepted unknowing what to expect? Was it going to be solid, was it going to be nice? or was it just going to make her spit it out in the bin.

Well her face lit up once she finished munching on the first bite, and this combined with the copious amounts of tea which was on supply, made her day.....

UNTIL....THE AWARDS!!!!!

Craig aka starmag1275gt was the winner of "most customised car of the show". This was completly hillarious as he was moaning that it wasnt clean, and it wasnt even suppose to be on the stand untill i had words with him.
Craig you see, is, well a tart to say the least, if his car isnt clean, he wont be happy at people looking at it, he would rather put a cover over the car than see mud on it. Mini in the park was amusing as he was so paranoid about the paint (love you craig )

Then came a complete surprise......

As the announcer announced it;

And the winner of car of the show Jean Jarrardo!"

ok we laughed, as did bean and even said, quite loudly "Jean Jarrardo?? hmm"

So reggie won car of the show. He was very clean, and i think bean was, well chufed to say the least.


All in all i think it was quite a good show, and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Would like to say on behalf of the forum staff thank you to those who had their cars on display, and those other members that showed thier faces and said "hello im tmf member ......."

Cant wait to get my mini back on the road now and go to all the shows next year.
