I didn't know him, but he seemed to be a top lad, R.I.P mate.
I agree with the idea of finishing the mini project, it seems a fitting tribute to a fellow TMF member. It would be nice to get all on the forum, to provide some help / funds / parts / whatever, no matter how small, to the project. Something as a community that we can all contribute to. He was one of us.
Maybe we should have a new topic / sticky, somewhere were we can all post a message, and they could be printed out for the funeral / family. I'm sure there are a lot who would like to attend in person, but for whatever reasons are unable to, and would still like to send their thoughts.
My condolences to his family and those that knew him.

i didnt know oli but from what i have seen on his brilliant project thread he was a very talented person, and had a great imagination

I agree we (as a forum ) have to get his project finished, if his family will allow it. perhaps the op could let us know when the time is right?
How about tmf having some flowers done, perhaps in the shape of a mini? im sure most here would put a few quid in?
