No replies to all the questions on progress makes it look dodgy. im sure it isnt, but many people including myself donated money to finish his car after the incident, we would like some updates/pics to see where its going.

Does anyone know Prawn or live nearby; perhaps they could politely give him a nudge. It would be nice to hear something, even if the car isn't finished or even started on yet.

A lot of people have made generous donations; it would be a big disappointment to Oli's friends and more so to Oli if the job doesn't get completed.

Come on Prawn you have lots of offers of help to get Oli's car completed.

Basicly guys, the engine STILL hasnt turned up from Morspeed, despite several phone calls, we simply get excuses, and told each time that it's ready to be shipped, yet it never arrives.

All being well it will apparently have arrived today, although this was not the case at 14:00, I will call Matt in the morning and find out if its turned up yet....

I'll keep you all posted

This isn't very good at all. I'd say it reflects terribly for Morspeed. Please let us know if it turns up tomorrow.

To be honest, I am dubious, and believe that when Oli died, his engine was sold, and we have been told lies ever since. Perhaps a new engine has now been built in a hurry and shipped out, who knows.

regardless of your other woes I can assure you as an independant witness that oli's engine has not been sold, I have seen it on many occasions and it was in final prep along side mine - I believe my exhaust manifold was used to test the engine at some point and it was still there when I picked mine up.

You may have issues, but please do not make speculations that could be read as libel as this could be an entirely false publication without proof.

Simon has his failings which are being addressed - not quickly enough for some perhaps but who says a brilliant engineer should be a great businessman as well.

I hope things work out and maybe the next posting will be to say just how good the engine is perhaps.

Thanks Roofless, It's good to know it does at least exist!

Looking back through records, Oli confirmed his order with Simon and paid his deposit on the engine at the end of April 2007, his had confirmation that it was fully built, and payment had cleared on september 4th.

Why your manifold was used on this engine to test I do not know, as the engine was sold WITH a manifold as part of the original order back in April 2007.

after speaking to prawn last night i was told that the engine should be being delivered today. if that is not the case when i am at work today i will enquire into the situation.
