My husband and his friend changed the cam on his 1995 spi and now the wretched thing will not start. There is power to the coil, but no spark from the coil - any ideas would be greatly apprecaited.

If there's power to the coil pack.... but nothing coming from the coil pack,... that tells me that the coil packs broked but i think you've probably checked that!

SPi's and MPi's are run of pure black magic so i'm afraid i can't help... have you tried posting this in the 'injection' section? might be something in there already

Has the distributer been set up correctly?

was the flywheel removed and if so was the crank sensor removed before the flywheel?

If the fuel pump primes and you dont get a spark but you do get a squirt of fuel, the crank sensor is good and its down to the set up of the distributor.

If you dont get a spark or a squirt of fuel the crank sensor is suspect.

If you dont get the fuel pump to prime when the ignition is switched on, there are other issues as well.
