Mine did this, but i think it was damp. Cleaned inside cap and around arm and in dizzy with a dry cloth carefully and it fired up when i put it bk together.

Phew :cool:You did right Bigbad, the spark at the coil means the dizzy internals are fine it's just not being distributed to the leads. New cap and rotor needed as you have done, or usually it's just the cap as the carbon bush in the middle wears down but a new rotor won't hurt.
